The Albany Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, Oregon was organized on June 26, 1971 as an independent, Bible-believing and practicing, New Testament church.

Since that time we have been striving to spread the message of hope in Christ. “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth,” II Timothy 2:3-4. It is God’s desire that all mankind be saved, yet the message of Christ doesn’t stop there.

It is also God’s will that those who are saved come to the knowledge of the truth, which does not lie in the thoughts and dreams of mankind, but in the Word of God itself. Our sole rule of faith and practice lies in the Inspired Scriptures of God and that the authorized King James Version Bible is the best translation of these thoughts, meanings, and intents of God himself.
